As a part of the school's trip yesterday, we went to the Pomeroy Studio, a design studio owned by Jason Pomeroy, in Central Clarke Quay. Numerous of big and prestigious projects were made in this office, such as Trump Tower in the Philippines, the B house and many other architectural, master planing, landscaping as well as interior design works.

The open space fits 20 workstations for the employees with a meeting room in the corner. This is where we met Jason when he gave some advice for us. He explained few projects that he has done before through some 3D printed models, published articles and slide shows. He showed his own books as well to us which contains his projects and ideas on how to create sustainable buildings for the future.

In his small talk, he shared some good tip to us on getting clients which he believes is by communicating well and keeping good relationship with your employer and colleagues. This is because the design world is connected with each other, so everyone will know if you are good or bad. He proves this himself by getting big projects even his studio is only 4 years old. He maintained good reputation through his previous works and so it is easier to get bigger projects.
